Our client is a 58 bed specialist Hospital for Maternity and Pediatrics in Kuwait. The hospital is new and provides state of the art facilities.The hospital’s vision is to provide excellent medical services based on the highest international standards and in line with the universally accepted norms embodied in the patient’s bill of rights.

The hospital also aims to contribute to the field of medical and healthcare services by promoting and developing the current medical standards both locally and regionally; and to establish the cornerstone and main building block of ethical medical standards and practices. It also strives to encourage excellence in healthcare practice by offering adequate medical services and continuing medical education to achieve the expected positive outcomes. The hospital is seeking to recruit a Medical Director

The Medical Director is responsible for supervision and leadership within the Medical Division assigned to ensure best establishment, planning and implementation for hospital plans, strategies and regulations. Also, the Medical Director is responsible for providing direct patient care in the area in which they are assigned. The Medical Director will carry on all tasks of practicing consultant in the hospital, therefore this position consists of two parts: Administrative as Medical Director and Clinical as Practicing Consultant.

Qualification Requirements

• Current US, Canadian or Western Europen Board Certification specialty appropriate for the service in Obstetrics / Gynecology or Pediatrics / Neonatology(Ob\Gyn).
• M.D. degree required
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Three (3) years at least as practicing hospital administrator.
• Three (3) years of experience as a board certified MD.
• Meets all requirements in order to obtain medical staff membership and license in Ministry of Health (M.O.H) and required privileges of service.
• Post residency clinical experiences in specialty preferred.
• Continuing Medical Education to meet organizational requirements.
• BLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty.
